UNIT 3 Unreal past situations.

Unit 3:

Write about 5 situations in which you or another person wished they had decided something different. Make sure to use the third conditional for unreal past situations. Look at the attached image to have an idea of what to do.

1.    1. Last weekend a very famous circus arrived that would be in the city for two weekends, my friends invited me the first weekend and I did not accept. They called me and told me that the tickets were 2x1. I was encouraged to go to the second weekend, but the tickets were already at the normal price and their cost was higher.

If I had agreed to go with my friends to the first show, I would have taken advantage of the price of the 2x1 tickets.

2.      2. In my math class on Wednesday, we were given an assignment for Monday of the following week. Sunday was the birthday of a friend from school, but I still hadn't done my homework, which was due the next day, and that's why my parents didn't give me permission to go to the party.

If I had done my homework on time, they would have given me permission to go to the party.

3.      3. Last week it was my final exams, I didn't really pay attention to the classes, or I paid more attention to other things. A few days ago, they delivered the final grades, and it didn't go well for me.

If I had studied hard and paid more attention in class, I would have won the exams.

4.      4.here was a sale of brand clothing with labels but with great discounts on the bolivar promenade and I didn't know it. I went shopping in a mall and spent a lot of money for few clothes. When I got home my best friend called me that she bought a lot of clothes with little budget.

If I had known about the garage sale on Paseo Bolivar, I would not have spent so much shopping at the mall.

5.      5. My boyfriend usually keeps an agenda of what he does in his week and organizes it with times to be able to have free time to spend together on weekends. I, on the other hand, tend to be disorganized. He invited me to the movies, but because I didn't organize my time my obligations accumulated, and I couldn't go.

If I had organized my time and done my duties in order, I would have gone to the movies with him.

What would you have donde if you had missed the train? 2. We wouldn't have had this digital video conference if an internet connection hadn't been available.  3. If our huge old camcorder hadn't broken, we wouldn't have bought this smaller one.  4. If she hadn't taken her smart phone, she wouldn't have known they canceled her flight.  5. If they hadn't had good weather, they wouldn't have landed in Alaska this morning.  6. If the weather had been better, we would have gone to the beach .  2.   1. On Monday you bought a new Blendini sports car because its advertising said...

Prepositional phrases of geographical place

What natural setting in Colombia 🇨🇴 is a must-see? ✅ What activities can you do there?  Múcura Island This island is located in the San Bernardo archipelago located in the Gulf of Morrosquillo. It can be reached from Cartagena where the route is long due to its distance or from Tolú or Coveñas, which is closer, maritime transport such as boats is used to get there. This coastal island is a paradise known for its beautiful beaches with crystal clear waters. You can do activities in the sea such as diving, snorkeling to see the incredible coral reefs and the diversity of fish or kayaking. In one part of the Island there are beaches with the presence of jellyfish, it's too dangerous for tourists to bathe in that area; That is why there are signs so that they do not go to that part of the beach. You can also tour the island by bike, play tennis and beach volleyball. Its climate varies by seasons, from May to November it can be rainy and from December to April it is dry.
